Red Sox Ace!

You cant say anything bad about the Red Sox Ace Jon Lester.  By the time he was 24, Lester had thrown a no-hitter, helped win a World Series, and beaten cancer. He has been through so much with cancer, I cant believe he is still standing as strong as he is now and he is doing better than he ever has. Red Sox manager, John Farrell, told Lester and the Sox media that he will be the starting pitcher opening day. Now thats a great feeling knowing that he will be opening up the 2014 season hopefully with a strong start. Jon Lester is a man of his own, he goes around and helps out kids who have suffered from or still have cancer. Because he fought it and doesn't have it anymore does not stop him from going around to other littler kids and make there life more happy. Now all the Boston fans are hoping for another unforgettable season by the players and we all think that no matter what, win or lose, we all will be happy with the outcome. If they won again this year, and they have the ability to do it. Yes, it comes with luck so games, but its the skill and work that they put into it to win the city another trophy. The biggest key to winning is the hitting aspect of the game. If nobody can hit then its putting the pitcher in a deeper hole and makes him more frustrated, I know that from experience. We all wonder who is going to play what position. Personally I think that it would be nice to play the youngster Jackie Bradley Jr. So we shall find out and see when the Boston Red Sox come back to Boston and make there home opener!

  1. I agree, Lester is one amazing man. I have a feeling that his no-hitter in 2008 had something to do with him being motivated for his father. A week after the no-hitter he announced that his dad was battling cancer. Let's hope this season is a good one for him. Is he your favorite player of all time?
