About Me

Well, this is my first blog post so tell me how I did.
Hi, my name is Evan Camilleri and I am currently a student at Burlington High School. I am a very active athlete. I play baseball, basketball, and football. I was a QB for 8 years but I quit recently. I played point guard but I also quit that sport too. I am a pitcher, shortstop, and center fielder for the Burlington High School Varsity team. I made Varsity when I was 14 years old. I am one of the youngest kids in my sophomore class but school has been great so far! My dream is to play Professional baseball and that dream is working so far. Im 15 years old and I play for the Lowell Spinners 18U baseball team. I practice everyday to accomplish my dream. Last week when I was pitching I got clocked by a radar gun, my speed was 85 mph. now thats pretty good for a 15 year old! My favorite quote is," SUCCESS, the harder you work… the luckier you get". -Anonymous. My brother always tells me to accomplish something you need to work hard for it, its not handed to you! Colleges were looking at me last year when I was a freshman. Thats all I have to say about me, so comment and reply back. Thank You for listening

  1. Hi Evan! My name is Kristen and I'm a graduate student at the University of Saint Joseph. I recently entered the world of blogging myself and found your blog. I love sports (especially baseball) so I can't wait to read your posts. How old were you when you started playing baseball?

    1. Hello Kristen, Thank You for taking the time to read my post! I started playing baseball at a very young age, possibly age 3 or 4. My brother taught me the proper way to do everything. He is my pitching coach because he is an amazing pitcher too. Hopefully someday i'll make him happy by playing Pro Ball.

  2. I wish my parents had me playing sports at 3 or 4! Swimming, which became my high school varsity sport, entered my life at around 7. Yes, I had years and years of practice but I can't imagine how good I would have gotten if I had started right after walking! I'm sure I'd be much better at snowboarding today if I hadn't waited until I was 16. So, what MLB team would you like to play for in the future?
